Hi, I’m Ashley Mertins, founder and heart behind Texas Glamping Co.

I have always felt drawn to nature, although I will be the first to admit that I also love my comforts. My husband and I used to take the rugged kind of camping trips. There were no bathrooms, no running water and definitely no electricity. Let’s just say those trips built character.

Everything changed when we decided to create our own version of backyard glamping with our girls. That experience showed me that you could enjoy the beauty of the outdoors without giving up a comfortable bed, soft linens and a thoughtfully designed space. Honestly, once you experience camping that way, there is no going back.

Some of my favorite memories come from the simplest moments. Sitting around the fire, sharing late night conversations and waking up to the peaceful stillness of the morning. Those moments feel grounding, restorative and increasingly rare in our busy everyday lives.

That is what inspired Texas Glamping Co. This business has never been about simply providing tents. It is about creating meaningful experiences that bring people together and become part of the stories they remember.

Today, Texas Glamping Co. creates full service mobile glamping villages and luxury overnight accommodations for weddings, corporate retreats, festivals, ranch events and private celebrations. We serve large events throughout Texas and beyond, while our backyard glamping parties are available exclusively in Dallas and Fort Worth.

My goal is to take the stress off your plate and create an experience that feels effortless, beautiful and truly special for you and your guests. Our team handles the delivery, installation, furnishings and takedown so you can be present and enjoy the people gathered around you.
